Gooey-Goo

Lizzy and Peter are really into playing with "monsters" and "ghosts" lately. It's not often clear if one of them is pretending to be a monster/ghost, or if they are uniting forces against an imaginary monster/ghost. The game usually consists of one or both making "grrr" noises and then everyone chasing around squealing in delight or crying in fear. Sounds super fun, huh! It's not much of a spectator game (I guess the real thrill is in the action). Yesterday Lizzy began bringing out pillows to make a "boat" for her very special dolls and stuffed animals because the gooey-goo monster was coming, and they all had to get on board. Almost instantly, Peter popped out with his own "boat," slightly disheveled, but still effective against the goo. Their battle wages on! I think they're winning, but to be honest, it's hard to tell......
