I love camellias! Our dear friend down the street has the most amazing camellia tree, unlike any other I have seen. It's blossoms are white, soft pink, and red, and when it flowers, the tree looks like the most lovely bouquet, just sitting there for the neighborhood to enjoy. Lizzy loves the tree too, and she always wants to visit it and admire all the beautiful flowers. She gazes at each one, looking for which one catches her eye. It's often the white ones, with the soft pink edges. But like all things, the camellia flowers are delicate and fleeting, and before you know it, they're wilted on the ground. I'm so glad I have Lizzy to remind me to take time to enjoy the flowers, this very moment, while they're still so colorful and vibrant!
