Our weather has been crazy! As the rest of the nation braces for an intense snowstorm, my kids were playing on the driveway the other day in short-sleeve shirts "washing" their scooters. The blessing of this is not lost on me, and I am thankful everyday for the lovely weather we enjoy that enables us to have such fun playing outside.
Peter really seems to be coming into his own lately, and it is wonderful to see. He's much more independent and confident while playing with the neighbor children, and he's getting a lot of practice standing up to "bossy" big boys:) He's talking more and more, and I get so excited when I hear him using complete sentences, which he's starting to do a lot of! The other night he wanted to read us all a book, and he went through the whole book, which was an ABC book, and told us each letter. He's enjoying drawing a lot lately too, and while his pictures are still pretty free form, he's beginning to make some faces, which is so fun! It's so awesome to watch Peter becoming such a big, capable boy, and I love seeing all that he can do:)
