The only good thing about daddy working late, is that sometimes other daddies are also working late, and we can make a night of it! The other day we were out for a walk with Charlie and Pat called to say he would be late. Kelly said Matt was also going to be late, and Lizzy quickly invited them over to watch her new favorite movie, "Alice in Wonderland." Kelly grabbed some wine, I popped in the chicken nuggets, and we were ready to go. We cuddled the kids up with lots of blankets and pillows, and we actually got to have a few minutes of conversation- how fun! Of course we love it when daddy comes home, but it was fun to sneak in some mommy time with a special friend.
