Lizzy's school has a wonderful Christmas tradition. Every year on the last day of school before Christmas vacation, the class meets in the church to learn about the big organ and hear some music. I'm amazed by the organ, all it's big fancy pipes coming out of the walls, and the rich music it produces. The kids are always mesmerized! After everyone gets a good look, the class sits on the steps leading to the alter and sings Christmas songs with the pastor, on guitar, and organist, on piano. It's so fun to hear the children singing in their tiny, darling voices, and it certainly puts you in the holiday spirit.
