Swing Tricks

Since Lizzy has become a complete "swing master," she has moved on to more exotic swinging "tricks." One of her new favorites, is the "stand-up swing" which she loves to do at school. She has proudly shown me this trick the last couple of times I've picked her up, and I'm so glad I had my camera today to capture it's magnificence! Lizzy wore her "rainbow dress" to school today because they have been learning all about colors. Today was the most darling "snail day." The kids "painted" with snails that were sitting in colored water and then they put them on their paper and let the snails go to work. They had "snail races" where they taped tiny cars behind snails and let them "race." They even baked snail shaped pretzels! What a fun day!

  1. Oh my goodness... so much has been happening with those Gibbons kids and I have been a very delinquent blog follower! Sorry!

I love the swing tricks and the frog climber but my favorite is the"zoo" Lizzy created. It reminds me of Jack's many imaginary games he created. :) Today I found Caroline on the couch with a boat load of things and one of Jack's belts over her lap. She was on a trip and the belt was her seat belt. So cute!

I'd like to mention the MOST adorable tooth fairy thing I've ever seen: it's at this link so you can see it... http://www.flickr.com/photos/angelav/2226274372
It is a special tooth fairy door that you can put near the base board in the bedroom so that you can give the fairy your tooth and she can leave treats right there. Adorable!

Miss you...let's plan a visit soon. The Wed. night Farmer's Market is up and running again. YAY! :)
