A nightly tradition in our home is the dual bath. While it originated as a crucial time saver, it has evolved into a much loved evening ritual that not only gets grubby kids clean, it ends the day on a happy high note. Of course, bubbles are our favorite! The kids love to play around in the sudsy water, often with cups, washcloths, or our favorite horsie and princess friends.

Wowza!!!!! You went a little blog crazy, friend. Look how many posts you have...or maybe I've been a neglectful follower. I love Peter's smile in this bath picture. I don't think I've ever had the luxury of being the recipient of one of those extra toothy grins in person. Too cute!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the pic of dad with Lizzy. You are so right about dad's ability to listen and truly take you seriously. It is a huge gift and one so many people never get to receive. I think when you get a taste of extra good listening skills, the likes of which John Boyan is supremely adept at, you try to search it out in the rest of the world. It's a rare listener, indeed. :)
