When I'm trying to get my shopping done, I have two little shadows that follow behind me (sometimes making the trip "adventurous" and sometimes making it fun). Lord knows it took Lizzy a good three years before she was let out of the cart and could handle walking near me in the store without running away. Peter on the other hand, that guy is a little ducking following behind his mama. He HATES being in the cart, and loves to just walk along with us. I have to give it to him, he usually stays right by me, and doesn't even grab stuff off the shelves. Thank goodness for Lizzy too, because along with her many other talents, she is great at shepherding Peter along and even holding his hand when he starts to wander.

My Safeway Shadows

Look at those lurks! Too cute! Caroline is now begging me to go to the co-op where they have the tiny carts and she will be my shopper...I have to admit that I treasure it too. But that girl can get out of control just a little too quickly with the cart...more practice required. :)
