You know how some kids have a really sweet bedtime routine? Read a special story, snuggle with mommy and daddy, have lots of hugs and kisses, then off to dreamland? Well, we have that too, but...........lately our daddy has added a new twist to the bedtime routine. Pat found an awesome skeleton at the bookstore when he took the kids one day for an outing. The skeleton is very realistic with removable bones and organs. The kids love it, especially Lizzy. Now Lizzy will often ask Pat, "Daddy, do you have any stories for us from work?" On special nights, Pat will tell her to get the skeleton. They'll go through the different parts, and Pat will tell the kids about one of his patients. The kids sit there, enraptured, loving all the gory details. Maybe we have some budding doctors amongst us.
