Here's Peter on his first day of school! All my fears of him having trouble opening up and enjoying himself seem to have been for nothing. The guy pretty much loved it! Today was a short day, and I stayed with him the whole time, but he was chatting away and playing the whole time- it was wonderful to see. As soon as Peter walked into the room, he went straight for play-dough. He loved rolling and flattening it, and he loved cutting into it with the pizza cutters and putting the tiny plastic animals in it. He loved all the cars and trucks, and the little slide. He was happy and busy the entire time, and seemed to genuinely be enjoying himself. He never made it to the art project, but hopefully he'll make something next time. I was so excited to see him making his way around the room, exploring and learning. What fun! I'm so thankful he gets to go to such a wonderful school!
