School hasn't quite started for us yet, so we were able to squeeze in one last "summer" day-trip with our usual favorite companions- Auntie Elizabeth and Caroline. We broke from our usual hot-spots and tried the Exploratorium. I hadn't been there in years, so I really didn't know what to expect. It was wonderful! Picture a giant warehouse full of amazing hands-on activities for the kids to explore. They loved it, and I had the fleeting thought that I wish I was there just with Pat, so we could do the experiments too with no distractions:)
