Patrick is turning eleven (yikes- where does the time go?), and celebrated in style with a Toy Story 3 movie party. I wasn't sure how Peter would do in the theater, but he was a total champ! Thanks to Patrice, I learned about the movie theater booster seats. I set up both kids with snacks in their special seats and they were good to go. Lizzy loved the movie, and easily sat through the whole thing. Peter made it about 90% through before getting a little antsy and needing to step to the back. Weirdly, even though he was ready for it to end, he cried and cried when it was over saying, "More show! More show!" I guess he liked it. We walked to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream cake. Peter figured out a great way to beat the heat by playing in a nearby fountain. Patrick loved his cake, his friends, and opening his awesome presents (lots of Toy Story gear). We loved getting to head to our cousins house after for some playtime and dinner. As usual, the kids had a blast, and just played and played- so darling. What a great party for a wonderful boy!
