My Valentines Day may have been a little low on romance, but it sure made up for it in cuteness. Pat had to work that night (bummer, but he made up for it with gorgeous white roses and my favorite chocolates), so I was running solo with the kids. They were so excited after a fun day of sharing Valentines with friends, that we decided to keep the party going. We created our own Valentines tea party. The kids helped me make the table look extra special with candlelight and cute decorations, and then we created our meal together- heart-shaped sandwiches, fruit, crackers, and candy. Um..... I'm not sure it was the most nutritious of meals, but it did the trick, and put us all in the Valentine spirit. Afterwards, we put on some of our favorite music and danced and danced. Peter kept saying, "Mommy, I think this is the best Valentines Day ever!" He may have been right. It was a pretty great day.
