Introducing Mater, as played by the ever-lovable, Peter. Peter shocked us all by opting for the quirky sidekick of the sleek and stylish Lighting McQueen for his Halloween costume. Don't let the semi-serious face fool you- Peter was totally into the Halloween parade at his school. I wasn't sure how this whole thing would play out. Peter has been known to shy away from the spotlight at times, but on this day, he was in his element. He loved wearing his costume, including the hysterical too-small hat, followed right along with the parade, showed the whole class his costume during circle time, and sang along with all the Halloween songs during music time. In a word: adorable! I love preschool anyways, but seeing everyone all dressed up, so excited for this special day, was priceless.
