Today Brian suggested a really fun outing. We took the kids on the CalTrain up to the Burlingame station, then hit a donut shop and the park. The kids were so excited to ride on the train! As soon as they boarded, the four big kids walked right up to the top level, and found perfect seats. They loved looking out the window and seeing "the world" (according to Lizzy) pass by. Lizzy loved handing her ticket to the conductor, and Peter loved sitting on his daddy's lap, taking it all in.
Oh what a great idea! My kids absolutely love the train. Maybe sometime you can come up to Davis and we can take the train to Sac to see the Railroad Museum. It is a darling spot. However, I have to commend Brian for taking it to the next level and finding the perfect treat to complement the day. :) You are beyond blessed...best of all, you know it!
ReplyDeleteGuess you had a day that was a bit more exciting than us. Today, I cleaned out Caroline's closet and room, getting ready for that big girl bed. Yikes!
